Kia Ora. I love working for Scripture Union. My job allows me to combine some of my favourite things – the Bible, training and working with children. Coming from a Primary teaching background I am passionate about the place of schools as hubs of communities, and the role churches can play.
I am a primary school teacher who gave away classroom teaching because I am passionate about helping churches see children and families getting to know God through creative, fun, exciting and challenging Bible interaction and training.
Raewyn’s role in the Wellington region is to oversee SUPAkidz clubs and camps and provide training through WAY2GO and church consultancy.
Nigel joined the staff at Scripture Union in 2005. He has a long history of leading summer holiday programmes and camps in the deep south of NZ, participation in volunteer committees and training others in these mission contexts. Nigel works for Scripture Union because he is passionate about its mission of seeing children and young people transformed by Jesus.
SUPAkidz stands for 'Scripture Union Primary Adventures for Kidz'!
SUPAkidz camps are for primary aged kids! (Year 4 - 6 at school). They are well run with trained leaders and great programmes. They include games, art and craft activities, swimming and heaps of fun.
