  1. Pray. Ask God what he wants and prayerfully consider your own availability as leader. You might want to seek out some other adults to help you pray.
  2. Decide whether a SUPAkidz Club would be right for your local school and community. Check if the school already has a Christian programme running (i.e. Bible in Schools).
  3. Start looking for leaders to form a team.  You will need a minimum of 3 people to run a SUPAkidz club. Consider approaching other churches in the area to seek their support.
  4. Contact Scripture Union for the starter pack. Complete it and return it to Scripture Union. This includes choosing your programme material for the term ahead.
  5. Approach the Principal and/or Board of Trustees and ask for permission for a club to operate in the school with you as leaders. Scripture Union can help you with this. You will then need to wait for approval from Scripture Union to officially start your club. This includes police clearance and referee checks.
  6. Once Scripture Union has given you approval to start gather your team for your 2 hour introductory training session provided by Scripture Union.
  7. Look at your first term’s programme together as a team and pray and plan.
  8. Organise your enrollment procedures with the school and advertise your club.  Make sure you have a parental permission form. Plan a relevant and exciting way to begin your SUPAkidz Club.
  9. Your club starts. Let the fun begin!
