Scripture Union’s aim is to see school-age children and young people given opportunities to discover and follow Jesus. We offer resources and training to assist churches of all denominations minister to children and young people both in schools and in camps, as well as church contexts. We encourage churches in a community to network together to reach out to their schools. We also advocate for the place of children and young people in churches and the wider community, and we encourage prayer for them. We recognise the nurturing role of the local church fellowship and encourage all who come to faith through our ministries to be actively part of local churches and to develop life long habits of Bible reading and prayer. 

Scripture Union aims to equip every church to make disciples of children and young people, and to be at the centre of a vital Christian witness to children, young people and families.

Through our Resources for Life shop, we offer a range of material for regular Sunday or midweek youth and children’s groups, and encourage Bible engagement through providing Bible reading guides for all ages.
