Pray Day for Schools

Pray Day is a day of prayer for schools. It started in Germany and now has spread throughout the UK and Europe. Scripture Union launched the first Pray Day for Schools in the Southern Hemisphere here in New Zealand in 2009 and it’s been an annual event since.

We are encouraging each year people all around New Zealand involved in praying for their schools. This day is about celebrating this and taking a unified stand. It was also about letting others know what is going on around the country and that they are not alone in their prayers and passion for their local school.
