2009 WORKSHOPS

These workshops are packed with practical ideas to strengthen your ministry. Choose any 3 workshops from the list. Choose topics that reflect your area of ministry or feel free to explore topics that interest you. Some workshops have limited spaces so please register early. The workshops are endorsed by CEC (Churches Education Commission) and count towards your accreditation if you are a CRE teacher. Please check with your convenor regarding specific requirements.

Check the code at the end of each workshop description to make sure the workshop is running in your centre. (I = Invercargill, W = Wellington, A = Auckland)

ChildSafe ABC10
This workshop is for people who are already using ChildSafe or who plan to do so and takes place over all three workshop sessions.

You will learn how to use the ChildSafe Safety Management System to assist you in running safe programmes when working with children and young people. In this time you will cover ChildSafe Team member Module 1 (Keeping People Safe) and Module 2 (Child Protection)
